The author „strips“ the topic of the Palemonas myth and provides a new interpretation of the myth as a certain semiotic structure. In doing this, the author reveals the meanings of numbers and names by interpreting them as certain signs of the text. The harmony of numbers is remarkably well related to the Christian context, and the names mentioned in the myth are linked to the political issues of the period the myth was created, namely, the events of the Basel Convent.
